Ice Age: Continental Drift

Ice Age Continental Drift is a great family movie.  Its a good addition to the series but the overall movie is ok.  It is rated at 6.9 out of 10.  Its worth it to watch with the family and the kids would love it.  The story is about the trio: Manny the Mammoth, Cid the Sloth and Diego the Sabertooth and the continental drift.  They go on an adventure overseas discovering different sea creatures and even pirates.  The story is a bit fast pace and there are too many characters that aren't properly developed.  Other than that the CGI graphics are beautiful.  Overall, a nice family movie.

The Amazing Spider-Man

The Amazing Spiderman is a rebooted version of the other Spiderman movies with Tobey Maguire and I must say, I enjoyed this one far more.  The Amazing Spiderman has a darker and edgier feeling to it.  It was rated of 7.6 out of 10.  The story of spiderman and how he began was similar to the comics.  In this rebooted version, they gave more in depth details about spiderman's humble beginnings and the reasons why he became the hero that everybody knows and loves.  All in all, Sony did a great job with this masterful piece: The Amazing Spiderman.

The Avengers

The Avengers is Marvel's long awaited spectacle that has certainly paid off.  So many superheroes in one might seem like it'd be to hard handle but writer/director Joss Whedon did a marvelous job.  With a rating of 8.7 out of 10, The Avengers were a big hit in all demographics.  You can expect to see a lot of action and special effects with these many heroes.  With style and energy, The Avenger provides to it's fans exactly what they desire.

The Dark Knight

The Dark Knight Rises

The long awaited Batman Trilogy arrived this summer on July 20th.  With a critic rating of 9 out of 10, The Dark Knight Rises, may be the most anticipated movie of the summer.  I personally had the opportunity to experience it first hand.
The Dark Knight Rises started out slow introducing new characters and revealing so many plots. It progresses to a great climax and a sensational twist in the end.  Throughout the movie, I saw little of batman.  Bruce Wayne was a more significant character.  The movie was more of a drama than an action, but nevertheless it satisfied my heroic hunger for justice.  It is a must watch.
